Hi all the time has come for me and Metrospeed to part company

I've done many trouble free miles in him and he has been used for everything, commuting, tip runs, collecting parts and ferrying things all over the country, slowly but reliably.

Good points
998cc engine that will do 50mpg
Full service last september with all new ignition service parts replaced
new clutch and cable about 10,000 miles ago
new heater matrix
both offside wheel bearings replaced 2000 miles ago
various ball joints over the years have been changed and i'm fairly sure i have some unused new ones about as spares
tyres in good order (and mini sizes too so cheap)
runs happily on unleaded as the head has hardened valve seats from the factory
vented brakes on front, which stop him surprisingly quickly

Bad points

I've let the Mot and Tax lapse
some welding needs doing for MOT
on cold start there's a puff of blue smoke due to the valve stem oil seals needing replacing but in the last 6 years of owning metrospeed it has never got worse
the offside wing has a patch of rust but i have replacement and they just bolt into position so a couple of hours work will sort this one.
It's not a fast car at all but will keep up on the motorway and sit at 70 to 75mph all day long with no problems.

so people let me know if your interested, £200 ono will get him as he is, or i can do the work and MOT for 12 months and the price will be £400, Tax is the cheap band at a bit under £70 for six months and it's still insured so if you want me to tax it too to get home then that will be extra according to the cost.
